Billionaire hedge fund manager and founder of Paulson & Co., known for making $15 billion betting against subprime mortgages in 2007. Listed in Epstein's second black book (published by Business Insider, 2021). Rep. Thomas Massie publicly identified Paulson as appearing in the book while pushing legislation to release sealed Epstein documents. A spokesperson for Paulson & Co. stated it was 'news to him' and that Paulson 'never shared a meal or even a drink with Epstein,' never visited any of his residences, was never on his plane, and was never on the island.
